I have been reading conflicting reports about Rivers. The SDUT claims he is still nursing an injury from a illegal helmet to the sternum hit during the NE game. Of course, the Chargers and Norv Turner have not mentioned it. All I keep hearing about is fixing the "interception problem". Hello, it's not a problem Norv, it's a catastrophe. Rivers has thrown 6 interceptions in three games. That is double what his stat typically shows going into week four. Could his injury be the cause? I wonder if it's worse than they are saying because Rivers is a bad ass. He played in two playoff games without a ligament in his knee. No one is as tough. So what's going on Philip?
Gates has an injured foot. Still. He went to see yet another foot specialist yesterday and no news has been leaked as to what the doctor said. Thank goodness McMichael has stepped up to be a our number one TE. To be honest, I didn't know he was on our team last year... ha ha. Oh well, he has my attention now and number 81 is bringing it. This whole thing with Gates foot started with artificial turf. I think it should be banned. All real grass, all the time.
